Rosenhayn Fire Department Heavy Rescue

We featured a bunch of SVI built rescues on this site for a couple of reasons. First off, the folks at SVI build well laid out rescues trucks that can provide great ideas for anyone that is building a new truck. Perhaps the best reason?  SVI provides great information on their website about each truck with tons of photos. Just in case you are not fimilar with SVI Trucks, they are a U.S.-based company located in Fort Collins, CO that specializes in crafting custom emergency vehicles for agencies around the world.

Now, on to Rosenhayn Fire Department’s new Heavy Rescue that SVI built. It is an aluminum body mounted on a Spartan Gladiator Chassis and powered by a Cummins ISL 450 HP engine with an Allison EVS 3000 Transmission. The new Heavy Rescue truck features flush-fitting hinged doors on the compartments and a Hurst Jaws of Life. It also features a 10″ Raised Roof and OnScene Solutions slide out trays.
